WHAT IS A SILICONE RUBBER INTERCONNECTOR ?

The connector consists of alternating lyers of conductive and non-conductive silicone rubber. The cconductivity is achieved by the incorporation of carbon filters. The connector provides a cost-effective, reliable way of connecting an LCD with a PC Board. It can also be used ti connect 2 or more PC Boards together. Because of the almost infinite variety of contact configuration possible, it can accomodate most contact spacings and widths.

STRUCTURE & APPLICATION Alternating layers of conductive and non-conductive silicone rubber. For use is LCD watch application Insulating treatments on both sides of YL type insure no shorting to adjacent circuits. Provides greater reliability Soft insulating silicone rubber is vulcanized on both sides of thin YL type. Suitable for use with Large Area Displays (greater than 1'') Soft insulating silicone sponge is laminated on both sides of thin YL type. Eases conformation of connector to contact surface irregularily. Normally applicable to Large Area Displays (greater than 1'') Super Low Resistance connector (less than one ohm cm) is available for high-tech LCD display
