This is the user part. Only two tools are
needed to write/compile a Java application: an editor and
a java compiler. Professional frameworks including these tools
are easy to find.
Developed by the Java Community Process, MIDP (Mobile Information
Device Profile) is a set of Java classes and methodologies
especially conceived to fulfil mobile devices software requirements.
It integrates a ready-to-use graphic interface.
The MIDP native methods are the links between the abstract
world of JAVA-MIDP (hardware independent) and the real world
(specific hardware and operating system).
JOS is the Java Processor operating system. It is a pre-emptive,
multi-process operating system especially configured to run
MIDP programs.
The following figures demonstrate of the possibility which
offer JAVA’s software, of course supported by Borneo’s
platform.
The software programming, and the time to market is reduce
by the possibility of using Graphic Objects which are predefine
and configurable into the MIDP profile.
