AED has been founded in 1997. The main activity
was to design digital signal processing ASICs for military
customers. The Java processor was initially conceived for
military purposes.
Advanced Electronic Design propose you a complete JAVA solution,
for embedded systems. AED will help you to reduce Time To
Market development till production, with a high technical
support level and trainings.
A.E.D. develop a complete JAVA solution : BORNEO.
BORNEO is a Java solution to drive TFT’s panel and to
help you in a faster development stages for embedded Man Machine
Interface, compatible with J2ME configuration and MIDP profil.
BORNEO hardware include a JAP processor and Graphic accelerator
for TFT’s panel.
In June 2000, a french organization for technological innovation,
called ANVAR, labellised AED as an innovative company.
In September 2001, ODYSSEE Venture, a venture capital firm
with 150 Million Euros under management, has invested in AED.
The seed investment is used to launch the JAP processor family.
