Borneo hardware has been conceived in order
to reduce the cost and size of existing graphical embedded
solution. It only includes three chips : Borneo chip, RAM
and flash.
The JAP processor accelerates the execution of the Java
program (the graphic interface). The graphic accelerator implements
in hardware the most used graphical primitives such as rectangles,
lines, dma for images, etc.
This board is made to manipulate the software and hardware
components of the borneo solution. It helps to understand
Java language and MIDP classes. It demonstrates the performance
of the Borneo chip and it includes several applications of
embedded graphic interfaces. The JAP development kit is also
delivered with the borneo board.

- 8 Mbyte of Flash memory
- 2 Mbyte of ZBT RAM
- 16 Mbyte of SDRAM
- Triple 8 bits video DAC (VGA true color)
- 2 RS232C serial links
- 1 configurable connector (11 pins)
- 2 switchs and 2 buttons
* : Features should be customized.
- As a Man Machine Interface Solution, Borneo is able to
drive a TFT panel, and also allow to drive Touch panel.
- Borneo Solution allow to convert RS232 messages to TFT
display graphical datas.
