How OLEDs work
OLEDs havequite simple structures: a luminescent organic thin
film is sandwiched between cathod and anode. Charge carriers,
such as électrons and holes, are injected into the
organic layer, where they meet to form excitons. When the
excitons decay, the organic molécules émit their
characteristic light.
